The 4th annual WVABCA Prevention, Enforcement, Education and Policy (PEEP) conference will be celebrating the 2nd annual Programs of Prominence award to showcase programs across the state that are evidence-based and impactful to the audiences they serve. The planning committee will select a winning program from each of the six prevention regions to be recognized on Thursday, October 31st from 9:45am – 10:45am. During this session each winner will be provided with 5 minutes to discuss their program.
We are looking for innovative evidence-based prevention programs that address alcohol, tobacco, and/or other legal/illegal drug use and misuse. Community organizations/coalitions (PLO), governmental bodies (local, county and state), schools, law enforcement, individuals, and other organizations promoting evidence-based prevention focused work are encouraged to submit a nomination. Deadline on submissions will be Friday, October 4, 2024 at 5:00 pm EDT.
